Tottenham Hotspur have had a quiet transfer window so far, with no major ins or outs to report as of yet. However, Dele Alli may be about to change that.

Journalist Pete O’Rourke has recently claimed that Newcastle United could move for the Spurs man as an alternative to Jesse Lingard.

Should Spurs sell Dele Alli?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

No!

If Spurs could offload him in this window, it could help finance a deal for Adama Traore, who they are interested in (as per Fabrizio Romano).

The news was relayed to Spurs supporters on Twitter, where the majority voiced their pleasure at the midfielder possibly moving on this window.

What the Spurs fans said…

“Please take him!!!”

@thfc31

@lxstlosty

“A sad, quiet exit is on the horizon. He’s still young and could light-it-up there. He could be a proper Newcastle hero. I wish Dele all the best.”

@otheranthony

“Today is a W”

@sal18yosif

“Tell Levy I’ll pay for the flight to make sure the deal gets done”

@AWALLUTD

It’s clear that the Tottenham Hotspur faithful are keen to see him move on, it’s clear to see why after the decline in his output.

Daniel - Levy

How many times did Mido score for Spurs in the 2006/07 season?

He’s never been able to hit the heights of his 2016/17 Premier League season where he managed to score 18 goals and register nine assists. Since then, he’s been unable to reach double figures for goals, leaving the fans disappointed.

This season he has only made 10 appearances in the league, scoring just the one goal. Should he move on, it doesn’t look like Antonio Conte would miss him too much.
