How many times did Mido score for Spurs in the 2006/07 season?

In a role reversal this window, it was Spurs who fended off the opposition to acquire a transfer target. Steven Gerrard at Aston Villa had already seen a bid for Bentancur rejected.

Will this be the only deal Spurs make? Or will there be more late activity? Only time will tell…

  • Tony Borg says:

Although two new signings may sound good for Spurs, they aren’t significant upgrades on what we already had, we need to improve the defence considerably, a new left footed centre back and a right wingback is what we desperately need. Levy and Paratici need to get to work, other clubs seem to do their business fairly quickly but Levy always seems to take an age, if he’d have been a lot quicker in the Diaz deal we might have got it done, likewise with the Traore deal, the best part of a month we were being told we’re close only for Barcelona to step in. Levy needs to get these last two deals done ASAP. Mind you I won’t be holding my breath, he’s always let us down in the past, don’t expect anything to change now.
