Lots of Tottenham Hotspur fans have flocked to Twitter to share their anger with the latest announcement ahead of their upcoming FA Cup clash.

On Thursday afternoon, it was revealed Tottenham’s FA Cup fourth-round fixture against Brighton & Hove Albion had been selected for television coverage.

Will you be attending this game?

The game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will therefore be played on Saturday 5th February at 8pm amid a number of travel disruptions on the day of the game.

And on the back of their misery in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night, these fans did not hold back in voicing their frustrations with this latest announcement.

What did these Spurs fans have to say?

“Utterly shambolic. 8pm on a Saturday. ITV need to give their heads a wobble”

“This is disgusting an 8pm kick off on a Saturday evening total disregard for fans of both clubs”
“Ridiculous when there’s not even a 5.30 KO”
“The magic of the FA Cup…”
“Boycott this rubbish. Saturday night is not football time, and until fans flat out stop going to stupidly scheduled games, the TV companies will keep sticking them there. It’s grotesque”
This is a joke surely, an 8pm ko! . No trains again just like last weekend and the NLD this weekend. Looks like another 40k crowd then, more lost revenue, no wonder we can’t afford new players! So I’ll save money and watch on TV. Farcical.”

Spurs have three games against the Seagulls lined up for the remainder of the campaign following their postponed away trip to the south coast in December due to the virus outbreak.

With the FA Cup Twitter account sharing a post about what the fans mean to the competition just the other week, it is clear these fans clearly do not feel well-treated by the competition’s organisers.
