A large number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have flocked to Twitter to share their frustrations at the latest update in the future of Dilan Markanday.
According to Alan Myers, the Spurs youngster is having a medical at Blackburn Rovers on Monday ahead of a proposed move to the Championship side.

The 20-year-old’s future has been under speculation for a number of weeks now, with his contract in N17 winding down to its final months – and it seems he is now set to depart Spurs permanently.
If he does leave, the Lilywhites will be losing one of their brightest prospects just months after losing Dennis Cirkin to League One side Sunderland in the summer, which left these fans far from impressed.

And it is not surprising these fans have been left frustrated by the expected departure of Markanday given his exceptional start to the 2021/22 Premier League 2 campaign.
With 17 goal involvements in 14 league appearances, the youngster has shone in Wayne Burnett’s youth side, and perhaps his impressive form should have translated into more opportunities in the first team.
