A whole host of Tottenham Hotspur fans were left ecstatic on Twitter to see the latest transfer claim involving Dele Alli.
It’s safe to say that it has been a very frustrating time for Alli at Tottenham of late, with the midfielder failing to score in the league from open play since the 2019/20 season, having been unable to find the net at all last campaign.

Alli has only started two games in the Premier League under Antonio Conte, which could lead to his Spurs nightmare finally being over, with Everton interested in a loan move, according to Jack Pitt-Brooke (via The View from The Lane podcast).

It may not be a deal which is totally unsurprising given that Everton have scored just 23 goals in the league this season and have some money burning a hole in their pocket after the sale of Lucas Digne, while Alli could clearly do with revitalising his career somewhere else given his form over the last few seasons.
