A whole host of Tottenham Hotspur fans were gutted on Twitter following David Ornstein’s transfer claim surrounding Dusan Vlahovic.

Spurs have been relying on Harry Kane as their sole striker this season after failing to bring in an adequate backup over the summer, and that might be costing them, as the England international has just four league goals to his name.

Will Spurs sign players this window?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

No!

Reports have suggested that Spurs hold an interest in Fiorentina striker Vlahovic, who already has 16 league goals this season, but Ornstein has reported that the striker does not favour a move to Antonio Conte’s side.

A lot of Spurs fans are devastated on Twitter with this transfer claim.

What have these Tottenham fans been saying?

“This doesn’t surprise me, the guy should be playing CL football yesterday, I’d still all go in for him but I hope we’re planning ahead for top alternatives.”

@OwenSorrell

“Hah. We’re toast.”

@spursthecircus

“Ha . Not surprised. Been saying all along to spurs fans WE ARE NOT GETTING THIS CLASS PLAYER. LEVY DO NOT BUY CLASS. UNDERSTAND THIS AND YOU WILL NEVER BE DISAPPOINTED”

@DannyKyriacou

“Imagine my shock”

@jamesrusty_

“Cool that settles it then. Onto the next target please”

@depressionftbl

“I’ll act like I didn’t see this”

@WimDaapTHFC

It’s no surprise that these Tottenham fans are annoyed as they won’t just be missing out on a top striker, but their rivals Arsenal are said to be in pole position to sign Vlahovic if he does move this transfer window, according to that same report from Ornstein.
