A whole host of Tottenham Hotspur fans were extremely happy on Twitter to see the latest Matt Doherty transfer claim.
Football Insider has reported that Spurs have received a transfer offer for Doherty, who has experienced a tough time of things since he joined Tottenham having only started 13 games in the Premier League.

It appears that it could be a reunion for Doherty as Wolves, his former club, have made a bid for the defender, which could be down to the fact that the Midlands side are set to lose defenders Willy Boly and Romain Saiss to the Africa Cup of Nations.
