Lots of Tottenham Hotspur fans have flocked to Twitter to vent their frustrations at the latest injury news to emerge from Hotspur Way.

The Lilywhites return to Carabao Cup action on Wednesday night in the second leg of their semi-final, but Antonio Conte has revealed an unwanted update ahead of the clash against Chelsea.

Has Dier become the best centre-back at Spurs?

Conte confirmed on Tuesday afternoon (via journalist Jonathan Veal) that Eric Dier, Cristian Romero, Son Heung-min and Steven Bergwijn will all miss their clash in north London on Wednesday.

With a two-goal deficit already to turn around if they are to earn themselves a spot in the final at Wembley, these fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the injury news.

What did these Spurs fans have to say?

“Dier still out? Huge blow”

“Season pretty much over by end of January?”
“Great 3 of our best players”
“Forfeit the match”
“My god! End of the dream”
“Dier is a massive miss”

It is no real surprise these fans are frustrated when their top scorer in the Premier League, Son, and two of their main defenders in Dier and Romero are among the expected absentees.

Spurs have already tasted defeat twice to the Blues this season, and with some of their key players set to watch the game from the stands, it’s apparent these fans are not going into the match with much confidence.
