A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have been left concerned after seeing respected journalist Alasdair Gold share his predicted team for the club’s next game.

In the Premier League this week, Spurs will take on Leicester City as they continue their push for Champions League football. However, they look set to go into the game without some key first-team players.

Indeed, Cristian Romero, Eric Dier, and Son Heung-min are all likely to miss out.

Should Spurs sell Tanguy Ndobmele this winter?

No

Taking that into account, Gold shared an article on Football.london stating what he expects the team to look like when they face the Foxes. His predicted team, lining up in a 3-4-3 formation was as follows: “Lloris; Tanganga, Sanchez, Davies; Emerson, Skipp, Hojbjerg, Reguilon; Lucas, Kane, Bergwijn.”

Later, The Spurs Express posted his prediction on its Twitter feed and left many supporters discussing the possibilities.

Here’s what these Spurs fans said…

“Make that 6 awful performances on the trot if he goes with this lot.”
“That is a rank team. Leicester will beat that. Come on Antonio.”
“Just can’t understand continuing to play Tanganga, he’s had a part in every goal we’ve conceded the last couple of weeks.”
“Tanganga RIP 3 points”
“Oh my god tanganga”
“I cant handle watching Tanganga and Sanchez attempt to play out from the back again.”
“I’d rather Tanganga wasn’t playing to be honest. Been in horrible form the last 3 games.”
“Oh no not Tanganga. The guy is a walking accident. He needs to be loaned out to get experience.”

How many times did Mido score for Spurs in the 2006/07 season?

It seems the potential involvement of Japhet Tanganga seems to be of particular concern to the Tottenham faithful.

The young centre-back did last play in a 3-0 win over Crystal Palace, but has not featured in the league since. Perhaps he could return to the team against Leicester.

If he does, there is plenty to play for, with Spurs able to rise above rivals Arsenal with a win.
