A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have reacted online after hearing that Tanguy Ndombele was offered to AC Milan.
Under new manager Antonio Conte, the Frenchman does not seem to be a preferred option in the middle of the park. Indeed, the midfielder has been left on the bench as an unused substitute in five Premier League games under the Italian so far (via Transfermarkt).
To further add to this apparent lack of faith, it now seems that Conte is content to let Ndombele leave the club, with a report from Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews) claiming that the 25-year-old was offered to Milan. However, the Serie A giants are believed to have refused the proposition.
The news was shared online by Daily Hotspur and many Tottenham fans were soon sharing their thoughts on the matter.

Judging from these reactions, it doesn’t seem as though these fans are surprised Tottenham haven’t managed to offload their man with ease – a damning assessment from Ndombele’s own supporters.

In all honesty, it’s easy to understand why they feel somewhat apathetic towards their own man. After all, since signing in 2019 for a club-record fee of €60m (£53.8m), he has scored just six league goals, doing little to justify such a high price tag.
