A whole host of Tottenham Hotspur fans are very angry on Twitter following this latest Todd Cantwell transfer claim.

It has been reported by ESPN that Tottenham Hotspur are looking to sell Tanguy Ndombele which could be why Cantwell, who has started just five league games for Norwich City this season, has been linked with a move to Spurs via The Sun.

Would Cantwell be a good signing for Spurs?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

No!

Cantwell has reportedly been told that he can leave this transfer window if an offer of £15 million comes in which could interest Spurs as he would fill a homegrown quote while not breaking the bank, although there could well be a reason as to why the Canaries are willing to sell him.

A lot of Spurs fans on Twitter don’t like this Cantwell transfer link.

What have these Tottenham fans been saying?

“If we sign another Gooner then Levy should resign”

@Spurs_Daily

“This is the worst signing we could ever make”

@dele_tubbies

“AVOID AT ALL COSTS”

@alreynolds16

“I hope this is fake news”

@GeorgePercival1

“Are you serious? Norwich are bottom of the league.”

@kram_mark99

“Nowhere near the level of player we should be going after if we’re serious about top 4”

@davidkingsman

Spurs are not alone in their reported pursuit of Cantwell, with Sky Sports also claiming that Newcastle United also hold an interest in the midfielder, but the potential of European football next season could see the midfielder prefer a move to Tottenham if the club moved for him.

    Levy trying to mug off the fans with sub quality signings again, do you never learn? We have enough sub quality players, Levy should know, he’s having a hard enough time trying to get rid of them.
