A whole host of Newcastle United fans on Twitter are very happy to read Pete Graves’ latest transfer update.

Kieran Trippier’s deal to return to the Premier League and link up with Newcastle appears to only be a matter of time before it becomes reality, with Ryan Taylor reporting that the Magpies are set to up their offer to £25 million as talks over a valuation enter an advanced stage.

Should Newcastle sign Dembele?

That is almost certainly not going to be the only signing of this transfer window for Newcastle, and while they’ve been linked with high-profile players such as Sven Botman (their approach for the Dutchman has been rebuffed, according to Luke Edwards), there may be more names Newcastle are in talks with that are not in the public knowledge yet, as Graves has claimed.

He said: “Expecting transfer breakthroughs at NUFC this week. Been fairly amused by some of the names mentioned in certain places recently, however, there are players under serious discussion that haven’t been mentioned anywhere yet.”

These Newcastle fans are intrigued by Graves’ latest tweet.

What have these Newcastle fans been saying?

Such a tease @PeteGravesTV! Exciting times”

“We’re huge”

“The fact they’re working on deals behind the scenes and under the radar fills me with so much confidence. The right way to do transfers”

“Things you love to see”

“Isn’t this just music to our ears”

“Pete at the back post”

It is clearly an exciting time for these Newcastle fans, who are desperate to know the players their club are looking to move for, especially after the previous transfer window saw them sign just one player and fail to strike up a loan deal for Hamza Choudhury.
