A large number of Newcastle United fans have flocked to Twitter to share their frustrations at the latest transfer claim to emerge regarding Hamza Choudhury.

According to The Daily Mail, the Toon are one of the clubs which are showing some interest in the Leicester City midfielder this month.

Would you take Choudhury on loan?

It is reported fellow strugglers, Watford, are another side that has Choudhury on their shortlist with both sides eyeing up a potential loan deal until the end of the season.

However, having been linked with the 24-year-old during the days of Mike Ashley’s ownership on Tyneside, these fans took to Twitter to reveal their concerns.

What did these Newcastle fans have to say?

“If this happens this window will officially become a joke.”

“Stop the season I wanna get off!”
“Please not again”
“This would be comical”
“Back to the Mike Ashley deals now”
“My eyes are burning”
“End this window now please.”

The midfielder has struggled massively for game time this season under Brendan Rodgers with just four appearances in the Premier League over the course of the 2021/22 campaign (via Transfermarkt).

However, with recent links to the likes of Boubacar Kamara and Donny van de Beek, it is apparent these latest links have come across as hugely underwhelming in comparison to the previous names linked this month.
