Newcastle United’s season went from bad to worse as League One Cambridge United dumped them out of the FA Cup third round despite the Toon playing close to their strongest side.
While you could have probably picked out all the players involved to criticise, the Newcastle faithful slammed Martin Dubravka for his performance, in particular, with his comedy of errors helping the visitors score the only goal of the game.

The fans, obviously hurting after such a humiliating defeat, took to Twitter to slam the shot-stopper.

It’s evident the frustrations the fans have with Dubravka, making high profile mistakes in a transfer window for the richest club in the world probably isn’t a wise move.
It’s hard to argue with the supporters when you see the goal. Dubravka had not one, but two attempts to take the ball and quash any danger.

First he ran over/past the ball and it went through his legs, then he was slow to react and was beaten to the ball by a Cambridge player before Joe Ironside turned the ball home to put Cambridge United in the hat for round four.
