A large number of Newcastle United fans have vented their frustrations on Twitter at the latest claim emerging regarding their interest in Donny van de Beek.
It is believed the Tyneside club had been showing some interest in bringing the Dutchman to St. James’ Park this month on a loan deal until the end of the campaign.

However, over the weekend, it was reported the Manchester United ace had turned down the prospect of joining up with Eddie Howe’s side this month.
The Toon have brought in two new signings in January, but as they search for a midfielder, it is apparent these fans weren’t impressed with missing out on the 24-year-old.

Since signing for the Red Devils, Van de Beek has struggled massively to make an impact at Old Trafford and his game time has been incredibly limited, with just 68 minutes of league action to his name this season.
And given the proposed deal for the Dutchman was a loan, despite the Toon’s worrying position in the league table, it could have offered the midfielder an opportunity to show his parent side what he can do with some regular game time.
