Leeds United return to Premier League action on the weekend, but these fans do not seem impressed with the Whites having been hit by a fresh injury issue.

Patrick Bamford’s season has been hindered by two separate injuries to his ankle and hamstring which he had only recently been set to return from.

However, Phil Hay has relayed Marcelo Bielsa’s update from Thursday’s press conference as the Leeds manager confirmed Bamford has now suffered a ‘fresh injury’ to his foot.

And given the Whites have not exactly hit the heights they achieved last season, these fans voiced their frustrations on Twitter as Hay shared the update.

What did these Leeds United fans have to say?

“Beyond a joke now”

“it will never end”
“I do not have the words.”
This is beyond a joke now, how many new injuries can a player get, just as soon as they were supposed to come back never seen anything like it”
“Ridiculous”
“Oh my days man”
“This cannot go on. Get Brereton in”

As a result of his injury issues, Bamford has only taken to the pitch six times in the Premier League this season, in which he has netted two goals and provided two assists (via Transfermarkt).

The striker does not have much of a record of injuries over his career, however, it seems these fans are growing impatient with the 28-year-old following this latest setback.
