A large number of Leeds United fans have been sharing their frustrations on Twitter with the performance of Luke Ayling in their victory on Sunday.

Marcelo Bielsa’s men were able to get their revenge on West Ham United for the FA Cup defeat inflicted on them last week by taking all three points from their latest trip to the London Stadium.

Should Ayling be dropped?

Despite prevailing 3-2 against David Moyes’ side, it was apparent these fans had been left far from impressed with the performance of their captain on the day.

The Whites conceded twice on the day with Ayling’s poor passing leading up to the second equaliser of the afternoon from the Londoners, which left these fans furious.

What did these fans have to say?

“Luke Ayling is a liability”
“Luke Ayling’s ball distribution has been woeful so far.”
“Ayling needs to go end of year. Absolute dog player”
“Ayling isn’t Premier League quality.”
“Awful that. Ayling needs to be dropped. Can’t tho as no players”

The 30-year-old has missed a large portion of the 2021/22 campaign through injury, but Ayling has played all 90 minutes of the last six Premier League games (via Transfermarkt).

Despite grabbing an assist at the London Stadium, it seems these fans were still unimpressed by what they had seen from the experienced defender over the 90 minutes.
