Leeds United fans were left far from satisfied as they saw their side dumped out of the FA Cup in the third round in the capital.

Manuel Lanzini opened the scoring before Jarrod Bowen put the game to bed with a late breakaway goal. Leeds were far from their best, with supporters taking to Twitter to voice their frustrations.

Will Leeds be relegated this season?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

No!

Playing only his fourth game of the season after a long term injury, Robin Koch was slammed on social media after his performance.

What the Leeds fans said about Koch

“Koch is also a waste of a shirt today too. #lufc.” @MoodySilvs

“Koch is lost in midfield, he’s definitely not cover for that position.” @lufc_

“Robin Koch just isn’t a DM whatsoever.” @NathanPT93

“#lufc I’m sorry… but Koch is awful in CDM. Not once has he received the ball and turned to play it further up the pitch… Might as well use a traffic cone in there.” @Hardyboy79

“Did alright all in all. A midfield of Koch, Klich, Bate, an achievement of sorts… #lufc.” @AmusingName0

“Has Robin Koch ever played this far up the pitch? This is wild to see him making Bamford type press runs.” @CarterSyko

It’s clear to see how frustrated the Leeds fans are with the German defender who was playing in a slightly different role today.

He was playing in the midfield and while he’s already deputised there this season, he isn’t fully comfortable there, something that was evident today to the Leeds supporters.

Who was sent off in his first game as captain?

As per Sofascore, Koch was dribbled past three times on the day, the most of any Leeds player, while he made no key passes and managed just a 79% pass accuracy – the worst of any midfielder.

The fact players are playing out of position just cements the fact that Marcelo Bielsa needs to be backed in the January transfer window. The squad is stripped to the bones and in desperate need for additions to help cover the gaps and ensure Premier League status is retained.
