A whole host of West Brom fans were very happy on Twitter to see the latest claim involving Jordan Hugill.
It was only over the summer that Hugill was signed by Valerien Ismael on loan, but he’s never been able to nail down a regular starting spot at The Hawthorns, so Alan Nixon claiming (via WestBromNews) that he will be recalled in January may not come as a surprise.
Will West Brom go up via the play-offs?
Yes!
No!
Given that parent club Norwich City are severely struggling in front of goal and West Brom have now signed Daryl Dike on a permanent deal from Orlando City – while Hugill only has one goal in 20 appearances in the Championship – this will have done him no good in terms of earning a permanent move.
A lot of Baggies fans on Twitter are very happy that Hugill will be leaving this month.
What have these West Brom fans been saying?
“Get him off the wage bill”
“Willing to drive him back this afternoon”
“Siiiuuuu”
“Xmas came up early lol”
“I’ll get his train ticket and put him on it incase he misses that too”
“Great news”
“Good he is rubbish”
It may have been a desperate move for the Baggies last summer as Hugill’s record last season in the Championship stood at just four goals in 31 appearances, so it would appear that this move was never going to set the world alight.
