A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans have flooded to Twitter to share their rage with a decision to emerge from their draw on Sunday afternoon.
Antonio Conte’s Spurs were held to a point in north London on the weekend in their Premier League clash against Liverpool, however, fans were left feeling aggrieved by the Reds’ second goal.
Should the goal have been disallowed?
Yes
No
Andy Robertson provided Jurgen Klopp’s side with their second goal of the game, but the goal cake in contentious fashion with the ball hitting Mohamed Salah’s arm in the build-up (original footage from Sky Sports).
Spurs were left to rue their missed opportunities in front of the Liverpool goal, however, it was apparent these fans felt hard done by with Robertson’s goal as an image emerged of Salah’s apparent handball in the build-up.
What did these fans have to say?
“Disgraceful decision”
Spurs closed the gap on the Champions League spots and currently sit six points off fourth-placed Arsenal with three games in hand on their north London rivals.
A win would have took Spurs another step closer to the top four, but a point against the Reds is not to be sniffed at given their fine form this season – albeit with these fans feeling the referee may have cost them all three points.
