Lots of Leeds United fans have flocked to Twitter to share their amazement at some footage emerging of Illan Meslier during their Premier League victory on Tuesday night.
The Frenchman was able to keep a clean sheet at Elland Road on Tuesday as the Whites secured three big points in their quest to pull clear of the drop zone.
Are you worried of losing Meslier?
Yes
No
And it was one save in particular which caught the attention of the Leeds fans as Meslier was able to prevent Christian Benteke from giving Crystal Palace a second-half lead.
The 21-year-old was forced into scrambling back to his goal line and was just able to prevent the ball from crossing, to the delight of these Leeds fans who flocked to Twitter as the footage surfaced.
What did these Leeds fans have to say?
“there are so many other keepers that would have just stood there and watched it go in. Genuinely insane talent we have here.”
Bielsa’s side have had a difficult start to the campaign, which has seen Meslier only able to keep three clean sheets in the opening 14 games, however, two of those have come in the space of the last four days.
The Whites have now climbed up to 15th in the table and five points clear of the drop zone, and it seems these fans feel Meslier’s save in the second half was a big reason behind the latest win against Palace.
