A lot of Celtic fans have flocked to Twitter to share their thoughts on Ewan Murray’s reaction to some footage from their clash at Parkhead on Thursday night.

The footage showed an incident that took place in the Scottish Premiership clash which saw Jota pull up with an injury issue forcing the game to come to a halt.

However, the pause to the game was a controversial one for the Hearts players given Jota seemed to pull up with an issue to his leg rather than a head injury which would see the game immediately stopped.

Correspondent Ewan Murray stated:

“This was extraordinary. Including the next bit.. where Celtic are given the drop ball and attack”

And Celtic fans flocked to Twitter as the footage of the incident was relayed with fans from other clubs sharing their frustrations over Bobby Madden’s decision, with Ewan Murray’s tweet catching their attention.

What did these fans have to say?

“Grow up. Hearts were a disgrace at times during match. The number of times they fell down was disgraceful.”

“He done the exact same for heart when they had a player down”
“U get paid for this”
“Luvin ur pain”
“The same thing happened when a Hearts player pulled up first half, stop your whinging!”
“Cry more”

Jota has made a terrific start to his life in Scotland having found the back of the net five times in the league as well as providing four assists in his 11 appearances (via Transfermarkt).

Given the electric start to the campaign Jota has made, it is hardly surprising these fans are protecting one of their star men over the controversial incident.
