Sheffield Wednesday fans have been reacting with great anger following news that has come out of the club.

Having been on something of a downer last season with their points deduction and subsequent relegation – which was only slightly alleviated by not being placed under a transfer embargo this season – Darren Moore’s side have made a steady start to life in League One, as they find themselves on the fringes of the play-offs.

Do you know the record signing for these Championship sides? Let's see if you do, starting with Fulham

They have some big games coming up if they are to be serious contenders for promotion, one of which is against one of the division’s other big sides in Sunderland, which will take place at the end of the month on Wearside.

The club announced the ticket details for the game, stating that they have received an allocation of 2,821 for the game – a number which left Owls fans furious when the news reached them on social media, with many furious that they didn’t get more:

“Shocking allocation, its not as tho we can run on the pitch either, gutted lol”

“Not much for a stadium of that size”
“2800 absolutely pathetic Newcastle could never”
“Increase it now”
“Should be given 4k minimum with how empty that ground is”
“That’s horrific, they don’t even have the top tier open”

Will Sheffield Wednesday be promoted?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

No!

You can understand the frustration when you consider Sunderland’s attendance record this season in their roughly 49,000-seater stadium, as they probably could have been given a larger allocation.
