A whole host of Sheffield Wednesday fans have reacted on Twitter to Bailey-Tye Cadamarteri’s goal.

Sheffield Wednesday’s Under-18s recorded an impressive victory in the FA Youth Cup thanks to a top-class goal, both through the strike from Cadamarteri and also the general build-up play which led to the goal, especially in how difficult the conditions appeared to be.

Will Sheffield Wednesday be promoted?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

No!

It bodes well for the Owls’ future if they have a crop of players who can compete against Premier League setups, mainly because it will help them financially in not having to splash the cash to improve their squad in the future, and if Cadamarteri can keep finishing as he did in the Youth Cup throughout his progression, then Wednesday have a real talent on their hands.

A lot of Wednesday fans on Twitter are buzzing with this footage.

What have these Wednesday fans been saying?

“Get him in that deep end! Pace in behind and can finish like that. Get knocking on Erms door”

@dp55tav

“What a finish”

@OneSwfc

“Get him in first team drop berahino”

@ATaylor997

“Time to give him a long deal and some bench time at least!!!! Well done Bailey!!!”

@SergejOdstrom

“Age doesn’t matter when you can finish like that”

@Dwebbo86

“I’m not saying we should fast track him into the first team or anything but from what I’ve seen, he looks class. Can we at least get him tied down on a long deal please?!”

@OneSwfc

“Amazing! Well done lads. Love to see a few of them come through into first team at some point”

@MaxRebo26309927

“Get him in for kamberi”

@karmathelama

Even though these Wednesday fans are excited by the finish from Cadamarteri, it would be perhaps too risky and hasty to fast-track a 16-year-old into the first team, especially when Darren Moore already has players such as Callum Paterson, Lee Gregory and Saido Berahino to call upon.
