Celtic fans have been reacting to comments that have emerged from Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou about the return of Christopher Jullien from injury.

The French defender has been out of action since December 2020 when he suffered a pretty serious injury against Dundee United.

However, it looks as if he is on the mend and in the final stages of the comeback trail, as Postecoglou stated: “He’s had a couple of little setbacks but we are hoping now that he’s at a point where he’s ready to train fully with the team and make himself available. He’ll be a great addition.”

These comments were relayed to Celtic fans by @aboutceltic on Twitter for them to react to, where it generated a number of interesting responses, with many of them delighted to see him on the verge of making a comeback:

“Him and CCV be formidable I think”

“Circa September 2021. All joking aside hopefully he’s on his way back to fitness now and can be a good addition to the squad”
“Brings a great passing range from centre back. Him launching balls over the top for kyogo and maeda”
“Come on big man!”
“I’ve been dreaming of this day”
“If the big man is back fully fit he will be a serious addition…..real threat from set pieces and a presence in our own box as well , we have been dire at defending set pieces since he has been injured”
“This is fantastic news”

Based on Postecoglou’s comments, with Celtic’s next game not for another two and a half weeks, it’s not inconceivable that Jullien will be back for their next game so he can make a pretty much immediate impact on the team after such a long time out.
