Ange Postecoglou will lead Celtic into his maiden final with the club on Sunday, with the Hoops going toe-to-toe with Hibernian at Hampden Park in the Scottish League Cup decider.

Whether or not the 56-year-old will have his key players available is yet to be seen, with the manager remaining non-committal as to whether Kyogo Furuhashi and Jota are at in their respective injury recoveries.

Will Celtic win the Scottish League Cup?

Celtic’s official Twitter channel shared training images ahead of the final, with neither of those two players making an appearance. This went down well with some supporters, who believe that it could be a case of the Hoops not offering any real clues as to whether the duo might feature tomorrow.

How the Celtic fans reacted

“Keep everyone guessing if Kyogo, Jota, Forrest will be fit, good, don’t give our foes any ammo.” @COYBIG_1_8_8_8

“Kyogo?” @staceyleigh1993

“Keeping the opposition guessing!” @DarraghMcGeown3

“Nope, no Kyogo or Jota pics please…” @Phinnbhoy

“Good to see Mikey in this, hopefully they are just hiding Kyogo from the camera. I’m not the biggest fan of Mikey but atm I’d rather have him than not.” @KevinTwist67

“Where’s Jota?” @Jameba11

The fans’ eagerness for Furuhashi and Jota to feature at Hampden Park is understandable. It has been a struggle for the Hoops without them, relying on quite a few scrappy wins of late.

That’s no surprise when you realise that the Japanese star has scored 14 times in his 24 games for Celtic so far. He has also managed to lay on five goals for his teammates.

Jota has been in similarly explosive form, with the Benfica loanee recording eight goals and six assists in his 18 Celtic appearances.

Celtic fans, can you get 8/8 on this quiz on forgotten players? First up: who is this?

That’s 22 goals between them lost recently for Postecoglou, who will no doubt be hoping that both are available for the biggest game of Celtic’s season so far.
