Celtic fans have been reacting to footage of Kyogo Furuhashi from their recent Premier Sports Cup victory.

It’s safe to say that the Japanese international is fast becoming a cult hero at Celtic Park after the start that he has had in a Hoops shirt.

He has so far managed to bag 16 goals and 5 assists in his 24 games for the club so far, but the latest two that he scored will mean so much more as they came in their League Cup final victory over Hibernian, securing their first bit of silverware of the season and the first trophy under Ange Postecoglou.

The second goal was something extra special on top of that given the quality of the finish, beating the offside trap, he looped the ball over Hibs goalkeeper Matthew Macey with a first-time finish from just outside the edge of the box.

The club posted footage of the goal on their Twitter feed, where it led to a flood of responses from some very excited Celtic supporters:

“Will I ever tire of watching this? Nope.”

“Unreal”
“Absolutely unbelievable finish! That’s no easy unless yer Kyogo Furuhashi”

“ANNOUNCE STATUE”
“I love this football club more than life itself fact ! thank you for today i’m absolutely buzzing!”
