Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to news surrounding a potential bid for Franck Kessie that has emerged.
The midfielder, valued at £49.5m on Transfermarkt, has scored 33 goals and provided 17 assists during his time at the San Siro, which could provide Tottenham with a much-needed boost from midfield, as goals have been something Antonio Conte’s men have struggled with this season, with just 16 in their 14 league games so far.
Reports back in November seemed to hint that Conte was a big fan of the 24-year-old, and now, a further report from Italy has claimed that the club, along with French side Paris Saint-Germain, are willing to enter the fight for him, as it claims Tottenham are ‘ready to satisfy him economically’.
The claims were relayed to fans by @thespursweb on Twitter for fans to react to, and it generated some interesting responses, with not everyone seemingly on board with the idea of him coming to the club:
“Brozovic is better. Kessie hasn’t done much this season. He just strolls around on the pitch. We don’t want another Dele”
Would you like to see Kessie sign for Spurs?
Yes
No
Kessie’s contract is up at the end of the season, so clubs don’t have to make an offer for him yet as he will become a free agent. But whether or not they’ll move in January in order to get a jump on the competition will be interesting to see.
