A whole host of Tottenham Hotspur fans are ecstatic on Twitter to see Cristian Romero has returned to training.
Romero has been sidelined since he picked up a hamstring injury while away on international duty with Argentina, but now Tottenham Hotspur’s official Twitter account has posted pictures of the defender back in training at Hotspur Way with the first team.

Antonio Conte has claimed that he hopes to have Romero back by the end of January, which could put him in contention for Argentina’s upcoming fixtures.

Romero was signed from Atalanta over the summer on an initial loan deal, but after winning last season’s Serie A Defender of the Year, he’s only been able to start six league games all season because of injuries and international issues, though these Spurs fans are clearly excited by his impending return.
