A whole host of Tottenham Hotspur fans are gutted on Twitter after Joe Rodon was left out of the latest matchday squad.
Since Antonio Conte has arrived at Tottenham Hotspur he appears to have settled on a relatively consistent defence with both Ben Davies and Eric Dier starting all but one game across all competitions.
Will Spurs finish in the top four?
Rodon, who was signed by Jose Mourinho in 2020 for £11 million, has not had the best of time at Spurs having only been handed eight starts in the Premier League and now playing under his third manager at Tottenham, things don’t appear to be changing as the Wales international was not even on the bench for their clash against Brentford on Thursday night.
A lot of Tottenham fans are not happy on Twitter with Rodon being left out of the squad.
What have these Spurs fans been saying?
“Needs to go out on loan in Jan”
“there’s gotta be something behind this, right? I don’t really understand”
“Looks like he’s on his way out.”
“Must be disappointing for him especially with Sanchez named in the starting eleven ???”
“Not been picked by 4 managers in a row now – something must be up behind the scenes and in training”
“Sadly he’s not good enough”
Despite not featuring heavily for Spurs, Rodon is a trusted and dependable member of the Wales national side, but if he continues to be ignored by Conte, his place in that side could soon come under threat and with a World Cup on the horizon, the defender can ill afford that.
