A whole host of Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter are very happy to see what Antonio Conte has said to Harry Kane.

It was well documented over the summer that Kane was eyeing up a move away from Spurs, with the striker telling Garry Neville that it would be he who decided his future and not Daniel Levy, but after Tottenham Hotspur rejected a £100 million bid, Kane stayed with the club.

Kane has been experiencing a torrid time in front of goal this season in the Premier League with just one goal and even the arrival of Conte has failed to bring about better fortunes in the final third, but the Italian appears to be keen to keep Kane at the club.

Will Spurs finish in the top four?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

No!

Journalist Rahman Osman has claimed that Conte is trying to persuade Kane to stay at Spurs by telling him that winning a trophy with his boyhood club will be much better than anywhere else.

A lot of Tottenham fans on Twitter are loving this from Conte.

What have these Spurs fans been saying?

“We’re actually gonna be pushing for the league next season. Tears in my eyes”

@THFCHarvey18

“Kane has said this already so many times. He did everything that he could to help the team to win. Giving it all since the beginning. It’s just Levy who doesn’t want to match his and fans ambitions.We have to win for him. He is here and will be here and yes He is Perfect.”

@THFCSamiiii

“Imagine casually telling someone you’re gonna win the league, I love conte”

@ThfcTweets_

“Winning a league cup with Tottenham would mean so much more than winning a Champions League at City”

@__THFC

“winning the league before Kane retires would be a miracle. Then we should have a statue of Conte outside Stadium.”

@DavidWilliamsDK

“Interesting, definitely can see him wanting it more out there. Goals will start coming for him soon”

@thfcem28

Kane has been a regular in the first team for Spurs for eight seasons now but he is still yet to pick up a single piece of silverware, although, given Conte’s track record at winning trophies, the striker may see this as his best and potentially last opportunity to win a meaningful trophy.
