Many Tottenham Hotspur fans have reacted negatively after seeing Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele be linked with a transfer to their club.
As reported by Spanish media outlet Sport, Spurs have already met with the Frenchman’s agent, as have the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, Bayern, and Juventus.
The article explains that Barca are aware of this, and that some of these clubs have asked him not to begin negotiations with the La Liga team over a new contract – with his current deal ending next summer.

Judging from these comments, the Spurs fans are not so keen to see Dembele arrive in north London. This may come as a surprise to some. After all, still only 24 years of age, he has already won the World Cup, La Liga, and a host of other trophies.
The main issue for these supporters, however, may well be the fact that he has been plagued by a number of various different fitness issues ever since arriving in Spain. Indeed, on three different occasions since 2017 he has missed over 100 days of football due to an injury (as per Transfermarkt).
