It is claimed the 26-year-old’s departure from the Bundesliga side is all but certain amid previous rumours linking the German to the Toon.

The centre-back’s contract with Bayern is set to expire in the summer and Sky Germany claims the chances of the defender extending his deal with the German champions is ‘difficult or even impossible’.
And with the Toon looking to bolster their squad for the second half of the season as they aim to battle the drop, these fans flocked to Twitter to share their thoughts on a potential deal.

Despite the rumours circulating about the future of the German, Sule has featured regularly for Julian Nagelsmann in the Bundesliga with 15 appearances to his name.
Given the centre-back is featuring so prominently, we are interested to see if Bayern will be open to offloading Sule in January or whether they will look to see out the campaign with him in defence as they sit top of the table by nine points.
