A whole host of Leeds United fans flocked to Twitter as the latest injury news at the Elland Road club emerged.

Leeds looked to have snatched a vital point on Saturday against the home of the European champions when Joe Gelhardt scored his first Premier League goal late in the second half, only for Chelsea to strike back from the spot minutes later.

Will Leeds be relegated?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

No!

Marcelo Bielsa has had to deal with a lot of injuries this season, and despite it being a quick turnaround before their next game, some fans may have hoped for some positive news on that front, but instead, all of their absentees from the weekend remain out, while according to The Athletic, Kalvin Phillips has undergone surgery on his hamstring.

A lot of Leeds fans on Twitter were gutted about the injury update as claims made the rounds online.

What have these Leeds fans been saying?

“Thorp Arch must be like a hospital at this stage”

@Mark_o_l

“Injuries are absolutely killing us.”

@Greg_01

“RELEGATE US NOW”

@LeeCox1510

“How injury stricken can this season get”

@Sam_Fosterrr

“Just a joke”

@Reggie48Raymond

“6 injuries still”

@UnitedLeeds_

“You’re scaring me now Graham”

@kildaregaa365

All clubs suffer from injuries, but for Leeds to be without Patrick Bamford, Rodrigo, Liam Cooper and Kalvin Phillips all at the same time is a massive blow when you consider how much they have played this season and how often they did under Bielsa last campaign.
