Leeds United fans have been reacting to claims surrounding a possible swoop for Manuel Lanzini in the upcoming January transfer window.
According to a report from TEAMTalk, Leeds United were one of a number of Premier League teams that were looking into signing the Argentinian midfielder, who was reportedly ‘growing agitated with his lack of first-team action’.
The report does go on to state that West Ham United were ‘open to the idea’ of selling Lanzini this past summer, but look set to keep hold of him this winter. However, in our view, it can’t be ruled out that they could change their mind again, especially if the right offer comes along.
News of Leeds’ interest was picked up by MOT Leeds News and then relayed onto the Leeds Insider Facebook page for fans to react to, where they didn’t seem too enthused about the idea of him coming to the club, and dropped hints as to who they would rather have instead:

The sentiment surrounding Lanzini’s injury record is certainly understandable, as it isn’t exactly the greatest when it comes to staying healthy. And given Leeds’ current situation when it comes to doing that with the current crop, he would arguably risk making it worse.
