It was yet another day to forget for Leeds United, drawing at home to Brentford 2-2 with Tyler Roberts and Patrick Bamford getting on the scoresheet.

It was a missed opportunity for Marcelo Bielsa and his side who could have put distance between themselves and the drop zone. Instead, they’re only six points clear of Burnley. The Clarets lost an important game this weekend as they travelled to Newcastle.

Although there were positive signs with Patrick Bamford and Luke Ayling returning from injury, there were further casualties in the game. Liam Cooper, the club captain and Kalvin Phillips also had to leave the field earlier than intended due to injury.

Leeds' all-time top Premier League goalscorer is Mark Viduka but how many did he score?

Injuries are usually unavoidable, and incredibly frustrating and we’re sure Marcelo Bielsa will be pulling his hair out tonight as he assesses his options going forward.

We’ve seen with other teams who get a core group of players missing through injury how difficult it is to replicate performances and cope with the constant changes. Leeds will need their luck to change quickly though, as over their shoulder the drop zone isn’t too far away.

The fans can take positives though as Patrick Bamford returned from injury to score a last gasp equaliser as well as the out of form Tyler Roberts scoring.
