Lots of Leeds United fans have flocked to Twitter to share their thoughts on Marcelo Bielsa’s post-game interview following Tuesday night’s defeat

The Whites were on the end of a heavy beating by the league leaders on Tuesday, and the 66-year-old manager shared his thoughts on his side’s performance following the game.

Will Leeds go down this season?

Yes

Yes

No

No

“There is nothing positive to take away from our performance. I can’t find anything that can be valued as a result which is natural in these cases when there is nothing well done,” said Bielsa.

It really was a difficult night for Bielsa’s men, who found themselves three goals behind just after the half-hour mark as City recorded 31 shots.

And Leeds fans flocked to Twitter to share their frustrations with the Argentine and his Leeds side as the Yorkshire club shared the interview footage on their official account.

What did these Leeds fans have to say?

“If he’s not going to change things up he’s got to go and it’s sad to say”

“This is rough…”
“If we don’t break the bank in january we’re gonna live to regret it. That has to be a wake up call.”
“Just HUMILIATING, handing it to our hated rivals . Not the first hammering and the last ? . Big challenge January transfer window need 3 quality players . I’m hurt inside . Refund any fans who went tonight . ONLY good thing the teams below us DONT keep winning or we’d be doomed”
“Got to go sadly I’m afraid..no plan B even C too many championship players in the tiny squad plus wingers”
“Pack your bags”

As damning a post match verdict as I’ve heard from any top class manager. Searingly honest. The thousands of @lufc fans were magnificent in defeat however, singing the defiant Leeds anthem to the very end. Tough night.”

Defeat against Pep Guardiola’s men has left the Whites with just three wins to their name in the Premier League this season after playing 17 games.

And next up for the Whites is a home clash against Arsenal, which is then followed up by a trip to Anfield, so there is little surprise there is such pessimism among these fans.
