A whole host of Leeds United fans are very happy on Twitter to see that Sam Greenwood could be leaving on loan.

Despite Leeds suffering from a whole load of injuries this season and Marcelo Bielsa handing a considerable amount of minutes to youngsters such as Joe Gelhardt, Crysencio Summerville and Cody Drameh, Greenwood has only been afforded 13 minutes of Premier League action, which came in the recent 4-1 defeat against Arsenal.

Will Leeds be relegated?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

No!

That was indeed his Premier League debut, but while others are getting chances in the first team, Bielsa is seemingly not as willing to throw in Greenwood and that has led to Swansea Independent reporting that Swansea City are looking to make a loan move for Greenwood in January.

A lot of Leeds fans are very happy on Twitter to see Greenwood could be heading out on loan.

What have these Leeds fans been saying?

“Make it happen. Needs game time elsewhere realistically he doesn’t have a future at Leeds especially as we look likely to sign a new striker soon”

@lufcJoe_

“Hope he gets the move, think he is the one really in need of a loan”

@RPlufc93

“Take him, never going to be a regular at Leeds.”

@Wessiewhite

“I would let him go on loan if I’m honest, he won’t get in the first team because he hasn’t already. With the players we have had out. Loan him out and make profit or loan him out to come back and push on. Just don’t let the under 23s get relegated”

@WayneGreen1987

“Let the lad got and get some first team football, wasting his time sitting on bench”

@kidcally92

“Let him go he’s not gonna start even with injuries this wouldn’t be bad for all parties if he does well we should play him next season”

@GelhardtProp30

If Greenwood is being offered regular first-team football in the Championship for a team that is attempting to make a late surge for the play-offs, then it could be something that the player himself wishes to get pushed through, but it could all depend on if Leeds can bring in a replacement.

This was a low point in Leeds United's history, but how many points did they get in the 2003/04 campaign?
