A number of Leeds United fans have reacted with joy online after seeing Kalvin Phillips claim he is going to stay at the club in a recent video.
Over the past few months, the future of the England international has been subject to much speculation, with a variety of Premier League clubs being linked with making a move for the midfielder.
However, it now looks as though Phillips is fully committed to the club – or at least for the immediate future.
Indeed, in footage shared on Twitter by CoreyHolmes, the 25-year-old can be seen at a recent Christmas party holding a microphone, before telling the room: “I’m not leaving.”

No doubt, this latest information will be viewed as an extra Christmas present for many supporters. With the club struggling for form – and with a number of first-team players injured – good news has been hard to come by of late.
If Phillips does stay true to his word, it means he certainly won’t be leaving in January, which will be a big boost to Leeds as they hope to avoid relegation this season.
