Lots of Celtic fans have flocked to Twitter to voice their frustrations with the performance of Liel Abada in their Europa League game against Ferencvarosi TC.

The Israeli winger started the game in Budapest to make his 21st appearance of the campaign for Ange Postecogkou’s Bhoys with three of them coming in the Europa League group stages (via Transfermarkt).

Abada has featured in all 12 of the Scottish Premiership games so far this season but has seen his game time reduced after a prominent start to the 2021/22 campaign.

Celtic fans flooded to Twitter to share their thoughts on the 20-year-old’s performance as they looked to keep their European hopes alive.

What did these fans have to say?

“Criminal from Abada. Amateur hour”

“Abada has been rotten, get wee Jamesy on.”
“Abada has to come back and take this off CCV. A disaster waiting to happen”
“Abada ruins so many great attacks”
“Abada is awful”
“Abada showing awareness of an 8yr old with that ball to Turnbull”

The £2.7m-rated ace has been able to return a respectable number of goals since arriving at Parkhead in the summer with six goals and four assists already to his tally (via Transfermarkt).

The reaction from these Celtic fans may come as a surprise to some given he scored their third of the evening, however, it is apparent his involvement in the goal conceded left a few Hoops fans far from impressed.
