A whole host of Sunderland fans have taken to Twitter to blast Lee Johnson’s comments following their latest defeat.
Sunderland fans will have been hoping that their team could bounce back from an embarrassing 5-1 defeat away to Rotherham United on Saturday, but it could not have been further from that as Sheffield Wednesday swept them aside, beating the Black Cats 3-0.

Despite shipping their eighth goal in just a few days, Johnson was upbeat during his post-match interview with the club’s media team, claiming that Sunderland were the better team between both boxes, although that means very little when you get beaten so comprehensively.
