Plenty of Sunderland fans have been left infuriated after the club announced that dates for a number of fixtures had been rearranged.
The Black Cats recently announced via their official website that upcoming fixtures against Doncaster Rovers, Sheffield Wednesday and Fleetwood Town have all been rescheduled.
The trip to Doncaster was originally set to take place on Boxing Day, but after being selected for live broadcast, it will now be played on the following day. As a result, the two other fixtures have also been moved to new times and dates.
The Black Cats’ Twitter account shared the information on social media, and it’s safe to say the club’s supporters were not very happy with what they were told.
Here’s what these Sunderland fans said…
“@WeAreTheFSA This is an absolute shambles mucking about with the festive fixtures relatively close to December.”
Considering these are very much festive-period fixtures, you can understand why so many fans are upset at the sudden change in schedule.

Yes
No
Many loyal supporters would have likely already organised their plans for Christmas and the new year in order to enjoy their holidays while also finding the time to support their team.
On the pitch, the Black Cats have little else to be cheerful about either. Indeed, their most recent match saw them suffer a 5-1 thrashing at the hands of Rotherham United.
