A lot of Sheffield Wednesday fans are ecstatic on Twitter following Josh Windass’ latest post.

The former Rangers striker decided to remain with the Owls following their relegation to League One but has not been able to help them out this campaign having picked up an injury in pre-season and considering he was their top scorer last season, there may be little surprise as to why they’ve struggled this season.

As well as deciding to remain with the club this campaign, Windass also signed a new contract with the club as he dedicated himself to getting them out of the league and he may finally be able to do just that as he’s posted on Twitter a picture of him back in training with the squad.

Many Sheffield Wednesday fans are buzzing on Twitter to see Windass back in first-team training.

@Aghill99

Windass has proven himself to be a goal scorer in whatever league he has played in, but League One is something he is yet to experience, but if he can do it in the Championship and SPFL, there should be little doubt over whether or not he can in England’s third tier.

An easy one to kick off our quiz on the 2020 summer transfer window in the EFL, which player left Birmingham City to join Borussia Dortmund?

A lot of the pressure in front of goal has fallen on the shoulders of summer signing Lee Gregory who has six league goals, but the club’s second top scorer is Dennis Adeniran with three, so being able to have someone like Windass back would be a massive boost for the Owls.
