Celtic: Many fans fume over latest Ferencvaros news

|

A whole host of Celtic fans are furious on Twitter after the club released fresh information about their upcoming clash against Ferencvaros.

The Bhoys managed to kickstart their Europa League group stage campaign last time they turned out in the competition by beating Ferencvaros 2-0 at home ahead of their crunch clash in Hungary this Thursday.

Celtic may be confident of picking up three points after comfortably sweeping aside their opponents two weeks ago, but they will have to do it without any of their fans in the stadium as there is not enough time to sort out UK vaccine certification approval before the match.

This news has left several Celtic fans very angry on Twitter.

What have these Celtic fans been saying?

“Ridiculous comments from Celtic fans who have no clue about anything”

@aidennohar

“Absolutely shambolic from the club. A complete disgrace.”

@celtic_voice

“This is a shambles for the folk who have travelled out. Honestly a day before a game abroad? Disgraceful”

@ConorMc78856815

“Absolutely woeful treatment for supporters,if this was an issue days ago why not relate it to the supporters”

@JungleLion_

“Embarrassing that you announce this this late”

@mxtt188

“The day before the game what a joke”

@Allanpower5

It’s understandable why these Celtic fans will be annoyed at the announcement given that the game was less than 48 hours away and many fans will already have made travel arrangements, while they will also feel their team could now be at a disadvantage as they will not have the backing of their travelling fans in the stadium.
