Celtic grabbed a much needed win at Dundee to move back to second in the table.

Despite conceding twice, it seemed a comfortable victory for Ange Postecoglou and his side who scored four times.

Both goals conceded by the Hoops were easily avoidable, and the defence has been criticised. One name that kept cropping up was that of Joe Hart. The former Manchester City and England number one let himself down according to the fans.

Celtic fans react to Joe Hart’s performance

“Joe Hart has been poor today… Been a brilliant player to come in but can’t hand a cross or corner.” @Dan118480014

“As far as I’m concerned we are also missing a goalkeeper today, for me Joe Hart ain’t all that!” @MckainTracy

“Joe Hart is an upgrade on the other two but still nowhere near good enough for Celtic #duncel.” @willadam

“Joe Hart in no-man’s land!” @vincetheprince1

“Was just thinking Joe Hart was having a decent game.” @Stevedubwin

“Joe Hart had a mare.” @Frankie_Phraser

“Joe hart for the two goals has been absolutely shocking, great shot stopper great influence etc.. but barkas etc.. would be getting it tight” @mitchs1981

The 34-year-old has 10 clean sheets to his name in Scotland after 21 appearances in all competitions (via TransferMarkt). By no means is that a bad record, but one Celtic fans, and probably Joe Hart himself, think could be much better.

Joe Hart has had a tough time since his Manchester City exit, never nailing down a starting spot and hopping from club to club. Celtic fans will be hoping he can get closer to his best game than he is now, with Celtic looking to catch up to Rangers in this year’s Scottish Premiership.
