Lots of Celtic fans have flooded to Twitter to share their thoughts on the latest transfer claim to emerge regarding the Parkhead side.

According to Mundo Deportivo, there are currently a number of clubs showing interest in the Swedish forward Jordan Larsson – and Celtic are one of those teams.

Would Jordan Larsson be a good signing?

The report coming out of Spain suggests the 24-year-old is also receiving interest from West Ham United and Borussia Dortmund, with just under two years remaining on his current deal.

Celtic fans flocked to the tweet relaying the claim on their club legend Henrik Larsson’s son as the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet suggests he could be allowed to leave for a fee less than SEK100m (£8.6m).

What did these Celtic fans have to say?

“for the love of god PLEASE”

“Imagine”
“bring him home please”
“please let this one happen”
“bring. him. home.”
“Don’t even joke about that”

The Swedish forward has had a horrific start to the 2021/22 campaign in the Russian Premier League with no goals or assists to his name in his opening 12 appearances (via Transfermarkt).

Given the Swede’s poor record in front of goal this season, it is surprising to see them so excited over the rumour. However, this does show how strong the feelings are towards his father’s legacy at the club as they want Larsson to ‘come home’.
