Many Spurs fans have taken to Twitter to react to a concerning pre-match stat as newly appointed manager Antonio Conte takes charge of his first game in charge in the Premier League with the north London club as they take on Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday afternoon.

Seeking a victory that could see them rise to fifth position in the table, the north London outfit fell to a disappointing 3-0 home defeat to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United in their last outing in the Premier League courtesy of goals from Cristiano Ronaldo, Edinson Cavani and Marcus Rashford, which ultimately turned proved to be Nuno Espiritio Santo’s final game in charge at the club.

Ahead of the crucial encounter against Rafa Benitez’s side this afternoon, the BBC (via The Spurs Web) revealed that Spurs have only scored nine league goals this season, their fewest after 10 games since the 2013-14 season, a stat which will gravely concern Lilywhites fans.

Following their 3-2 Victory against Vitesse Arnhem in the Europa Conference League on Thursday in Conte’s first game in charge at the club, Spurs will be hoping they can continue their winning momentum at Goodison tomorrow ahead of the international break before returning to Premier League action when they take on Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday 21st November.
