Many Spurs fans have taken to Twitter to react to a concerning pre-match stat as Antonio Conte takes charge of his first home game in charge in the Premier League as they take on Leeds United on Sunday afternoon.

Seeking a victory that could see them rise to sixth position in the table, Conte’s side drew 0-0 at Goodison Park in the Italian’s first league game in charge just prior to the recent international break, but will now be looking to claim a vital three points against Marcelo Bielsa’s men on Sunday.

However, ahead of the clash, the BBC (via The Spurs Web) revealed that the north London outfit have scored just nine goals in the league this season – with only Norwich having scored fewer.

Will Spurs finish in the top four?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

No!

And, after hearing about that, some Spurs fans took to Twitter to voice their thoughts.

What did Spurs fans have to say about it?

“The Nuno era was such a meme”

@TottenhamJim

“I wanna see this stat massively change. Just goes to show what spurs fans have been put through these last few months. Big game tomorrow”

@Jordan_Neale

“U watch tomorrow 4-1 win”

“Nuno tax”
“Haven’t even seen Conte ball yet relax”
“Pain”
“I was having such a good day, got loads of stuff done, United got massacred, but of course depressing stats about spurs come out. Just score some goals”

A record of five wins, one draw and five defeats this season has seen Spurs collect 16 points to sit ninth in the table, but they are only one point behind sixth-placed Man United and certainly have a run of winnable games ahead, with Burnley, Brentford and Norwich City on the horizon in their next three.

Following this, the Lilywhites face a difficult trip to Brighton & Hove Albion on December 12, while they will then take on Leicester and Liverpool before returning to action on Boxing Day at home to Crystal Palace as Antonio Conte seeks to reignite their campaign.

    What’s gone is gone. Cant do anything about the past. We desperately need all 3 points today. Anything less is unacceptable.
