Tottenham Hotspur fans have been waxing lyrical after an incredible stat emerged regarding Harry Kane following his hattrick for England in World Cup Qualifying on Friday evening.
The Three Lions captain came back to form in superb fashion on Friday during their qualifier match against Albania at Wembley. The Spurs forward netted a first-half hattrick, taking his total tally of Three Lions goals to 44, now just nine behind all time record goalscorer Wayne Rooney who netted 53 goals for his country during his career.
Following the game, the BBC revealed (via The Spurs Web), the Harry Kane is the first player in over 100 years to score 10 goals in more than one calendar year for England.
And, after hearing about that, some Spurs fans took to Twitter to voice their thoughts.
What did Spurs fans have to say about it?
“Conte Effect”
“England Legend”
“People say he’s overrated. How many legends of the game failed to replicate this in those 100 years? Form is temporary, class is permanent. Generational”
“He’s so good man stop doubting him”
“My goat”
“Form is temporary. CLASS IS PERMANENT”
Spurs fans will be hoping their talisman can rediscover his goalscoring touch when they take on Leeds United in their next Premier League match on Sunday 21st November at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium following the international break.

10 years after Harry retires, people who have written him off time and time again will probably be the ones leading the plaudits saying ‘he is a legend!’
The rest of us who love football KNOW talent when we see it and don’t rely on a player to have a good game before we voice it.
