Many Spurs fans have taken to Twitter to react to the news that Spaniard Bryan Gil has returned to training to ahead of Antonio Conte’s side’s clash against Leeds United in the Premier League this weekend.

Spurs’ most recent training session has seen Gil returning from injury but some others missing, in the run up to a return of Premier League action.

Before the third international break of the campaign the Italian had two games in charge of the Lilywhites, leading them to a victory in the Europa Conference League against Vitesse Arnhem before the stalemate against Everton at Goodison Park.

Now, to represent a major major boost to Conte’s side, the former Sevilla winger Gil has been pictured in Spurs training and many Spurs fan have taken to Twitter to express their delight at the Spaniard’s return from injury:

Gil was forced off in the Carabao Cup game against Burnley due to injury and has been out of action ever since, who only made his move to the capital during the summer from Sevilla with Erik Lamela going in the opposite direction as part of a swap deal. The youngster showed glimpses of potential under Espirito Santo and will be hoping to impress the Italian once he returns to full fitness.

    No, Gil isn’t ready for a starting spot just yet. That was the trouble with our previous signings, only Romero was good enough to command a starting position.
